Former Teacher, Musician and from a farming background, Simon created Wight Salt in 2018. An eco business, farming and providing Natural Sea Salt to the Island and beyond ...Simon says its making a living without feeling that its actually work...and you get to work with your best mate! 

Lorne Gardner

Production Manager

Lorne cannot keep away from the sea. A powerful competition Swimmer, he left school and became a fisherman, then had a career in The Royal Navy retiring as a Chief Petty Officer, back to fishing for a while, and now helping Simon (he needs help!) farm Sea Salt. How many can boast so many aspects of working at, with or on the Sea.
